Working Towards a Better Tomorrow

The SC Democratic Women's Council is a membership and volunteer-based organization of Democratic Women working together to forward the Democratic cause in the state of South Carolina. Our mission is to Encourage, Empower, and to support politically active women in our state.

The SCDWC highlights education and advocacy, and provides opportunities for members and affiliates to connect with community leaders, politicians, and like-minded democratic women and men from all around the country.

In addition to these worthy activities, the SCDWC is coordinating a series of statewide and regional events to assist candidates, champion important issues and take on the GOP in the state of South Carolina. Among those initiatives are included rallies for important causes, a "Day in Blue" at the Statehouse, unique classrooms on issues and Government Mechanics, and outreach on SC campuses.

You can participate in a number of ways, including volunteer opportunities and outreach. But most importantly, please support these worthy efforts by joining the SC Democratic Women's Council today. Send in your State Membership or start a club in your county. Every Race at Every Level, the SCDWC will be there to support women in politics.
